Mickey Mouse, who first appeared in the animated short Steamboat Willie in 1928, is still a beloved representation of happiness, nostalgia, and cross-cultural understanding. For his 96th birthday, Disney Korea launched the Mickey & Friends Seoul Tour campaign to make these timeless characters relatable to younger audiences. This campaign creates a special place where history and pop culture collide, celebrating Mickey's enduring appeal and Korea's cultural riches. Disney's well-known characters were animated for this project by DeeDee Animation Studio in association with the esteemed Duncan Studio in Los Angeles, resulting in the vibrant and engrossing content that was displayed on Disney Korea's Instagram account.
